Our Story
I created BanglesByJoii to pursue my passion for art & creativity. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, me & my family were stuck inside, not able to go or do anything for almost a entire year. We got to really explore our creative side & let our imaginations soar & I can say it has done nothing but bring greatness for my family.
I have a passion for the ocean & diving for my own shells to create a memory brings me so much joy. Since I was a child, rain or shine- you can find me in water. The ocean has always been my place of peace. I am a VERY proud Puerto Rican, Pacific Islander from the island of Guam & raised in Hawai’i. I’ve always wanted to buy bangles growing up, but they were always too expensive for my family. I pride myself in quality bangles, using 14K gold filled and sterling wire while aiming to remain a family-friendly budget business.
Joii is my middle name & as unique as it’s spelled-I truly do believe the joii I have for life is what has gotten me this far. I deeply appreciate when you choose me to be the one to create your bangles. There are so many bigger, louder bangle creators & while I may not be the cheapest I certainly will put 100% love into every single bangle I create & for that I thank you!
I practiced & practiced for 2 years on soldering, texturizing and drilling. It has definitely helped me practice my patience. Every day I grew more knowledge, did more research & tried, and then tried again. I did this for two years before finally deciding I loved my work, and the quality I was producing. It made me realize I could start my own business, and i did.. If it wasn’t for my family pushing me to just sell ONE, I would still be practicing in my living room, and not here today. I am self taught! I didn’t have a mentor, I didn’t have any friends that did this to ask & I was too shame to ask advice from other jewelers knowing I would be doing the same thing. & I am so proud of that ❤️
Nursing takes up my weekdays, & making bangles for you & your ohana fill our nights and weekends. Being home & happy with my children make it 100% worth it.
This was my dream & im living it to the fullest.

Do you allow refunds?
Unfortunately no, Bangles By Joii custom makes each order therefore there is no refunds available. However, on a case by case basis i may allow a refund in the form of store credit only. please send me a email and we can see what may be done.
I placed my order, but did not recieve a confirmation email, or any updates.
The usual answer to this question is that you did not enter your email during checkout, and would not recieve any updated or a confirmation email. Please send me a email to add one to your account to keep you updated.
OR
My confrmation email was sent to your junk folder. Simple fix, just search your spam/junk folder for Bangles By joii & usually you can find it there & mark the email as NOT SPAM for it to be moved to your inbox.
Can i change my size to my order?
Yes, as long as i have not started working on your order i am able to make the change.
IF I HAVE started working on your order, there is no way for me to change your size. Pease send a email as soon as possible for any updates.
Customer accounts & Shipping
I strongly reccomend you to make a customer account when/after placing your order so you are ble to track your order appropriately. After placing your order there is no update for the duration of the turn around time until it is ready to shi, at that time you will recieve a email with a tracking number.
Please allow 2 days for your tracking number to update! If you do not see any updates, please lt me know so i can check with USPS.
